Team Montrail has steadily climbed through the ranks to earn the reputation as one of the top adventure racing teams in the world. Combined, their experience includes over 30 years of multisport race experience. They’ve earned top ranks in Eco Challenge, Raid Gauloises, Primal Quest, Southern Traverse, Mild Seven Outdoor Quest, Raid the North Extreme, Discovery Channel World Championships and many other races. The team of six includes athletes with world-class experience in adventure racing, outrigger canoeing, whitewater kayaking, back country skiing, nordic skiing, ultra running, triathlon, slalom kayaking and rock climbing…and two of the best AR navigators around.

In addition to their incredible athletic backgrounds and race experience, Team Montrail’s main strength is their consistency with their team mates. It has taken years to build this strong team with just the right combination of athletic experience and cohesive personalities. Now, with a history of many races together and full commitment from the team, Montrail enjoyed a fantastic race season in 2003.
